The Delta blues meets the neon lights of Vegas. Tommy Collier and Jordan Mitchell met in a co-write back in 2017, and have been writing and performing together ever since. At first, Jordan hired Tommy to produce some music and play guitar for her on a few gigs. “After a while people kept mentioning how good we sounded together and that we should be a duo, so we decided to go for it!”
“In the middle of a nasty rainstorm, while driving back to Nashville from a gig in Tupelo, MS, we came up with the name Shiny Rifles.” Jordan, the rhinestone cowgirl from Las Vegas, NV; and Tommy, the blues guitar player from Greenville, MS; complement each other’s styles in all the best ways.
Their sound is sharp, yet steady; alt country current, yet familiar. Think The Civil Wars meets Lady Antebellum meets Johnny and June. “We play Country, Country Music. Its like Country Music, only Country.”
